About Sonic

Sonic is an EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain being developed by the Fantom team rebranding from Fantom to Sonic.

Sonic raised an additional $10M in May 2024, and plans to release its mainnet in December 2024. After the mainnet is released, $FTM will be exchangeable for $S.

A testnet campaign is currently underway, with a total of 200 million $S to be airdropped. The testnet is free and highly anticipated, so it is recommended.
