Kamino Airdrop Potential

The Kamino website’s header menu currently displays “Points?”, indicating that a point system is planned to be implemented. The point system has not yet started, but points are already being calculated for the airdrop. Therefore, it is a good idea to supply SOL or USDC as soon as possible.

Incidentally, Jito, which recently announced an airdrop, also uses a point system. Even if you only stake a small amount of SOL, you are eligible for the airdrop. (I received an airdrop of about $100,000.) marginfi, which is the third-largest TVL project on Solana, also uses a point system. It is a project that you should be interested in, along with Kamino.

2. Supply and Borrow

If you are unable to buy SOL due to volatility, one option is to lend USDC and borrow SOL. You can also try providing liquidity with the borrowed SOL.

However, if you borrow too much against your collateral, you may be liquidated. It is generally considered safer to keep your LTV below 50%. In the example image, the LTV is 58.81%, so there is some risk involved.

3. Provide Liquidity

If you hold SOL, it is a good idea to deposit it in “bSOL-SOL”. If you hold USDC, it is a good idea to deposit it in “UXD-USDC”. These are pairs, but you can provide liquidity even if you only have one of the tokens.
